SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Strolling across a golf course fairway, you might keep an eye out for high-flying golf balls — you probably wouldn't have an airplane on your radar.
So, imagine the surprise of golfers at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex on Sunday when a small plane crash-landed on the green, skidding out until it came to a stop in the parking lot.

Footage from surveillance cameras shows the plane narrowly missing some golfers. The pilot sustained minor injuries, and nobody at the golf course was hurt.
The pilot had taken off from a nearby airport and began experiencing mechanical failures 400 feet in the air.
