THE LOBBY — June 23, 2017 started like any other day. I drove to work early in the morning with my carpool and my stomach begin growling with hunger as the clock inched closer to lunchtime.
My wife called to let me know that she was near my office, running errands with our kids. She offered to come pick me up so we could grab lunch together at Lone Star Taqueria. I happily agreed. I waited in the lobby until my wife pulled up in front of the office. Excited to see my kids (and to eat some delicious fish tacos), I walked briskly through the lobby and toward an open door.
Problem was, the door wasn't open. It was just an exceptionally clean glass door. And I walked right into it, bumping my face into the glass — ouch. Most of us have had an experience like this at least once in our lives. So, we can probably empathize with the poor guy in this video.
This fellow didn't just walk into a glass door — he ran into it with gusto. Watching him bounce backward honestly makes my head hurt a bit.
Fortunately, he seems to shake off the impact. And, it was nice to see the other guy rushing over to assist him. It actually kind of looked like the second man was saying something like, "Yeah, this glass door will get ya every time. I walked into it last week!"
