Fire in Salt Lake City burns near Wasatch Hollow Preserve

SALT LAKE CITY — A fire started on Wednesday, threatening structures near Wasatch Hollow Preserve.

According to Salt Lake City Fire Department, the fire is burning around 1800 East and 1385 South.

Fire trucks could be seen from the corner of 1830 E. 1365 South as crews engaged the flames.

Firefighters said the flames were contained shortly before 6 p.m. The cause remains under investigation.
