SANDY — An American Fork man died Saturday night in a motorcycle crash on I-15.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers responded to reports of a crash on northbound I-15 near 10600 South at 10:28 p.m. Saturday. When troopers arrived, they discovered that the motorcyclist, identified as Jeffrey Dylan Vreeken, 24, had died at the scene, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety.
Troopers said excessive speed is currently being investigated as a possible factor in the crash.
No other vehicles were reported as involved, and no details have been released about what led up to the crash.
