BUDAPEST — One of the biggest benefits of artificial intelligence is how it can automate the small, tedious tasks that often fill our days. Whether it's data entry, invoicing, scheduling or sending out emails, the right technology can handle these functions and simplify our days.

Should we ultimately turn the keys over to artificial intelligence? Lots of people seem to think so, as automation has become a requirement for most modern businesses. But what if there were another way to streamline your life without needing to plug into a system? What if you could "automate" recurring tasks in a way that didn't even require electricity?

Animals might be the answer. Check out this video.

Of course, this isn't a new solution. Humans have been turning to animals for support with tasks for millennia. But as the allure of tech has led us in different directions, we've strayed from some of the simplest solutions.

"Electric toothbrushes are outdated, guys," wrote the user who originally posted the video. "Everything is back to the old ways."

Is this parrot-brushing strategy scalable? No. Is it sustainable? Probably not. Is it as effective as an electric toothbrush? Definitely not. But you have to respect this guy's approach to brushing smarter and not harder.
