THE DRIVEWAY – Anyone who has ever lived in a windy area has likely seen a trampoline go airborne. It's a scary situation because that's a lot of metal flying through the air. Property damage and even injuries to people are, unfortunately, common.
The best way to prevent your trampoline from blowing away is to not get a trampoline in the first place. The next best option is to secure it to the ground with heavy-duty anchors. It also helps to position your trampoline in the most wind-free part of your property.
Even if you do everything right, you're still at risk of having someone else's trampoline blow onto your property. Check out what happened in this video:
This late-night scene unfolded in Pasco, Washington. It appears the trampoline has been traveling for some time, as evidenced by the bent poles and other damage. But rather than slam into the vehicle in the driveway, it pulls an impressive maneuver like it's a teenager acing the parallel parking on their driving exam.
The user who posted the video wrote in the description that their area has been experiencing many major windstorms. And the person is clearly in awe that "some mystery force stopped the trampoline from hitting my Jeep."
Definitely looks as though some sort of force field was in use on that driveway. Otherwise, the trampoline would've certainly continued its destructive journey through the night.
