NANAKULI, Hawaii — Being from Hawaii, many ask me if I ever have time to hit the beach.
Well, I have, plenty of times.
But one of my favorite memories when I was younger was going up to Peacock Flats, high in the mountains near iconic Haleiwa Town. I went up there for a Boy Scout campout and would sometimes stare at the night sky, free of light pollution, gazing into the stars.
This recent video I came across brought back those memories.
