THE NEIGHBORHOOD – Are you the type of person who wakes up each morning at the same time and needs no alarm clock? Or are you the type of person who sets multiple alarms and hits snooze over and over?

I'm an early riser. But even if I weren't, my kids would basically be my alarm clock. Each morning around 6 a.m., they come out of the rooms and start making a racket in the kitchen. Thank heaven I have them around, or else I might actually sleep in once in a while.

I know some people really struggle to wake up in the morning. I've had coworkers who resorted to extreme techniques like setting up an obstacle course between themselves and their clocks so they can't just keep hitting snooze. Or rigging up a horn that blows each morning to jolt them out of sleep.

The puppy in this video seems to have a problem waking up from sleep. And Pumpkin's solution is ingenious. Check it out:

According to the video's description, this 5-month-old golden retriever lives with his family in Stanford, California. The user who posted the video claims that Pumpkin might've just accidentally poured the water on himself.

But I know better than that.

This is a puppy that wanted to make sure he didn't sleep through his alarm, so he rigged his water dish to spill right into his face.
