TAYLORSVILLE — The Utah Highway Patrol is trying to identify a man found dead on I-215 Sunday.

A Hispanic man believed to be in his 30s was found on I-215 near the Redwood Road exit about 5:30 a.m. The Utah Highway Patrol believes the man was hit by at least one vehicle, possibly more. As of Monday, troopers had made contact with at least two people who may have been involved.

UHP Lt. Cameron Roden says investigators do not believe there is anything nefarious about the man's death. If anyone thinks they know the victim or may have hit something on the freeway Sunday morning, they are asked to call the Utah Highway Patrol at 801-887-3800.
