NEWARK, N.J. — Auston Matthews scored with 2:09 left in overtime to give the Toronto Maple Leafs a 2-1 win over the New Jersey Devils. Matthews outskated Devils defenseman Brett Pesce, grabbing a loose puck near center ice in OT and beating New Jersey's Jacob Markstrom on the glove side for his ninth goal of the season. Pontus Holmberg scored short-handed for Toronto at 10:42 of the third period and tied the game at 1. Ondrej Palat gave the Devils a 1-0 lead at 7:16 of the second, scoring off an assist from Jesper Bratt.
