ARCADIA, Duchesne County — A 19-year-old man was killed Tuesday when he was struck by a car in Duchesne County.
Kai Cowan, of Arcadia, was walking in the lane of travel near 6500 S. 12000 West when he was struck by a vehicle, the Duchesne County Sheriff's Office said. He died at the scene.
County deputies did not specify why the man was walking in the street at the time of the crash.
An investigation is ongoing, but there appears to be no criminal violations involved, authorities said.
