THE DRIVEWAY — Winter is coming. We've already had snow in Utah this fall, and if the past two winters are any indication, we're in for some major storms in the coming months.
This is why it's important to begin preparing now for the physical and emotional toll of clearing your driveway after a big snowfall. Even with a snowblower, the experience can be tedious and exhausting.
Worst of all, winter sometimes conspires to make things even worse. Check out what happens in this video.
Let's be honest ... that snow could've fallen at any time. What if it had dropped when the man first walked out to shovel the driveway? He would've eliminated an overhead hazard and had the chance to clean it all up at once. I'm sure the front door had been shut many times that day, but for some reason, the snow cruelly held out until the guy was feeling the euphoria of finishing a hard task.
What can we take away from this? Winter has no problem pulling cruel pranks. So keep your head on a swivel and never assume that you're in the clear.
