SALT LAKE CITY — Check back for the latest scores from all the Week 6 high school football games across the state.
KSL.com Sports' Game of the Week: Northridge at Bountiful
Why did we choose this game?
An undefeated Northridge travels to Bountiful, looking to take a 6-0 start to the season; the last time that happened was 12 years ago. The state playoffs are weeks away, but starting 6-0 would go a long way to claim the Region 5 title and establish the Knights as a true power this season.
On paper, Northridge has been the better team — scoring more and allowing less — but Bountiful has been tough to beat at home this season. Bountiful has dropped one game this season to crosstown rival Viewmont, but a win could keep the Redhawks in contention for a Region 5 title.
Other games we'll be watching this week:
- Thursday: Landon Graham's heroic performance lifts Hunter to comeback win over Cyprus
- Springville dominates Cedar Valley, backed by strong defensive night
- Without its starting QB, East falls 33-10 to Olympus
- Oliver Mackay's 4 TDs pace Provo by Timpanogos for 3rd straight win
- Ogden football races by Union to start 5-0 for the 1st time since 2009
- Corner Canyon QB goes down in win over Mountain Ridge
- Alta ends 3-game losing skid with 31-10 victory over Highland
