DRAPER — Corner Canyon five-star receiver Jerome Myles made his commitment to the USC Trojans Wednesday afternoon.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound receiver chose USC over Texas A&M and Utah, which he was silently committed to prior to an original commitment to Ole Miss in the summer.

Myles decommitted from Ole Miss on June 24 and reopened his commitment and received additional offers, including LSU, Miami, Ohio State and USC. He took an official visit to Los Angeles to see USC's home opener, where the Trojans won 48-0 over Utah State.

From there, being that his official visits to both Utah and Texas A&M were in June, it seemed that USC was the leader in his recruitment.

Myles made that official on Wednesday, joining fellow five-star recruit, Julian Lewis, in the Trojans' Class of 2025.

The Corner Canyon senior is the top-ranked recruit in the state of Utah, according to 247Sports.

In May, Myles broke the state record for the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.36 seconds, breaking a 43-year record in his first season participating in track.

"I was just so happy that all of that hard work paid off," Myles said at the time. "I finally made it happen. I've been working for the state record all year, and I finally got it.

"My dad wanted me to save my body for football. But I told myself, I've got to beat his records. I wanted to beat it today."

Now the state record holder, Myles took his senior season by storm, which was highlighted early by a three-touchdown performance in an upset win over famed IMG Academy in August.
