SALT LAKE CITY — Three vehicles were involved in a crash on Sunday that forced the temporary closure of all lanes heading north on a portion of Interstate 15 in Salt Lake City.

The crash occurred at about 3:15 p.m. and involved a black Audi, a red Toyota and a gray Subaru. According to Sgt. Luis Silva with the Utah Highway Patrol, the Audi was speeding before it lost control, striking the Toyota and Subaru.

The driver of the Audi was taken to the hospital in serious condition after being ejected from their car, which rolled on the roadway, according to Silva.

The driver of the Toyota was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries and was in stable condition as of Sunday night, according to UHP.

There was no word from Silva on whether anyone from the Subaru was injured.
