PROVO — A 90-year-old woman is dead after two vehicles collided on University Avenue in Provo on Tuesday.

Officers from Provo police and fire crews responded to the incident about 11:17 a.m. near 2230 N. University Avenue, where the two cars crashed.

Drivers of both vehicles sustained injuries due to the crash and were evaluated on scene, with one being taken to a hospital, according to police. That driver's condition was not released.

A passenger in one of the vehicles, a 90-year-old woman, died from her injuries. Her name has not yet been released.

All parties involved in the crash are cooperating with investigators, according to Provo police.
