NEPHI — Southbound I-15 is closed near Nephi due to several crashes, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crashes were reported on the interstate between the Nephi exit and a couple of miles north of the city.
Southbound lanes are closed and officials are diverting traffic through Nephi, but troopers urged drivers to avoid the area if possible.
More information about possible injuries was not immediately available.
