BRAZIL – We all know someone who loves to be in photographs. When these people are known to look good in photos and simply enjoy being in them, we refer to them as "photogenic." It's a compliment.
When a person is obsessed with being in photos and takes it too far, the labels become less complimentary.
For example, let's say that you're at your 20th high school reunion. You and a handful of your favorite classmates are posing for a photo when, suddenly, a person you hardly even know jumps in front of the group and strikes a dramatic pose. It's immediately obvious that they simply want to flaunt their outfit and be seen in any photos taken on the premises.
You might refer to such a person as a "photo hog," "camera ham," "spotlight stealer," "lens lover," or "camera craver."
The following video showcases a helicopter that apparently loves to be in photos. Check it out:
When the helicopter encountered tourists taking photos on a coastal overlook, it swung around to pose for the picture. In this case, it looks like the helicopter is simply photogenic rather than a photo hog. Definitely not what you'd expect from a police helicopter flying around on official business.
