LOGAN — Ridgeline sophomore linebacker Krew Jones made the trip to College Station, Texas, to see Texas A&M take on LSU.

He came away impressed and with another SEC offer.

"It will be hard to beat. The fan base is crazy," Jones said. "Awesome to get another SEC offer."

Jones picked the right time to head to Texas A&M, as the Aggies pulled off a second-half comeback to defeat LSU 38-23. The Aggies are now the only remaining undefeated team in conference play.

But the win was more than an exciting atmosphere to Jones. It revealed to him how the dynamic of the team is at Texas A&M, and it spoke volumes.

"The team came out in the second half and dominated," Jones said. "That's a good sign that coaches made adjustments and the team is bought in."

Defensive line coach, Tony Jerod-Eddie, gave the offer to Jones. Regardless of it being their first time interacting, Jones saw the energy Jerod-Eddie has, and his knowledge for Jones' play style.

What was also revealing to Jones was how much Jerod-Eddie knew about him, despite it being their first time talking. Jones knows the experience both Jerod-Eddie and defensive line coach, Sean Spencer, both have, and that also carries weight.

"From our conversation, I could tell he (Jerod-Eddie) was very familiar with my film," Jones said. "He has a ton of experience, him and Coach Spencer. They know how to get to the league."

Jones plans to take two more trips in 2025 to Texas A&M, one in April for the Aggies five-star camp, and another camp in College Station in June.
