SALT LAKE CITY — Check back for the latest scores from all the Week 10 high school football games across the state.
KSL.com Sports' Game of the Week: Fremont at Farmington
Why did we choose this game?
The way the season started for Farmington — an 0-4 start with losses to four teams inside the KSL.com Top 20+1 rankings — a region title was likely the last thing on anybody's mind.
But sine entering region play, the Phoenix are 3-1, including a win over one-time region favorite Davis, and are now hosting a winner-take-all game against Fremont.
Farmington is still allowing too many points — 25.8 points per game — compared to Fremont (14.0 points), but has found life on offense, where the team has averaged 32.5 points per game. Fremont is much less potent on offense at 24.3 points, but the Silverwolves have been the more complete and consistent team this season.
Fremont has only lost two games this season — Mountain Ridge and Roy in the first two games of the season — but has now won seven straight for a chance at a region title.
It should make for a fun atmosphere in Farmington on Wednesday night.
