OGDEN — An arrest warrant was issued Thursday for a Pleasant View woman who police say approached a customer in a convenience store drive-thru and punched her in the face with brass knuckles.

Theresa Reyes, 31, is charged with aggravated assault, a third-degree felony; obstruction of justice, a class A misdemeanor; plus giving false information to law enforcement, threats of violence, criminal mischief and propelling a bodily substance, class B misdemeanors.

On Aug. 23, Ogden police responded to a customer at the drive-thru window of Kwick Stop, 506 26th Street. She said she was sitting with her 4-year-old child in her car when Reyes approached the vehicle, punched her in the face and spit on her, according to charging documents.

The woman rolled up her window and recorded Reyes punching the glass, according to police, when a bystander confronted Reyes to understand what was happening.

Reyes told the bystander, "Oh I got a .22 in my car for you," the charges allege.

Police say they identified Reyes from a picture of her license plate and the video taken by the victim. When officers went to the address on file for Reyes, they reported finding brass knuckles in a car matching witness descriptions, and Reyes in the driveway.

Reyes claimed she was an Oregon resident with a different name and ran away, the charges say. A warrant was signed Thursday for her arrest.
