LOUISIANA — It's a familiar sight: Someone exits a vehicle during a rainstorm and runs for cover because they don't want to get wet. In the case of this video, a Jeep has just pulled into a driveway and the passenger decides to bolt for the house to get out of the rain.
Unfortunately, there are bigger dangers out there than a light rain. Like the garage door, for example.
As you can see, the woman's hunched position makes it hard for her to assess what lies ahead. Covering her hair with her hand and bounding toward the garage, she collides with the edge of the door and drops to the ground like a sack of potatoes.
The video was filmed in Shreveport, Louisiana, which is the nation's rainiest state getting more than 50 inches of rainfall a year. So, anyone who lives there definitely has experience evading raindrops.
If it's any consolation, the woman was the one who uploaded the video. So even though she probably got a bump on the head, she could still see the humor in the ordeal.
