MINNEAPOLIS — A social media content creator's one-pan Thanksgiving recipe has gone viral.

But maybe not for the reasons poster Kate Heintzelman would have preferred.

A video shows Heintzelman putting a raw chicken in the middle of a cooking pan and surrounding it with green beans, yams and corn straight out of the can, then adding powdered mashed potatoes and box stuffing directly inside the raw chicken.

Heintzelman, 32, told the New York Post, which ran a story about the popularity of the video, that there's nothing wrong with putting a raw chicken in a pan with raw veggies.

"So you can't put chicken with anything then? You put a roast in a Crockpot with potatoes. You're telling me you cannot eat the potatoes because they, at one point, touched the raw meat? That doesn't make any sense to me," she said.

The video has racked up more than 7.5 million views on Instagram, according to the Post. But maybe not for the reasons Heintzelman was hoping. The video was initially posted on YouTube last year.

"How many people have you killed?" reads one IG comment, as another says, "Broke an ankle running to the comments" section.

"Just the napkins don't touch nothing else ... Matter of fact go watch football with guys away from the kitchen," another woman commented.

"idk if at this point she can even be trusted to bring the good soda," another person commented.

Heintzelman is planning a follow-up to her viral one-pan Thanksgiving feast, according to the Post, with a one-pan ham for Christmastime.
