RIVERDALE, Weber County — One person died in a crash early Tuesday.
A car heading north on I-15 near 4400 South in Riverdale went off the road to the right and crashed into the crash cushion at about 5 a.m., according to Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cameron Roden.
The man driving the vehicle died at the scene, Roden said. His identity has not been released.
The right lane is closed while troopers investigate to determine what caused the man to veer off the road, Roden said.
