ROOSEVELT — Two men were killed in a head-on crash Monday morning in Duchesne County between Myton and Roosevelt.

The crash, which occurred about 5:50 a.m., involved a Ford F-150 and a Kia Soul, according to Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cameron Roden. Both drivers were killed on impact. No other passengers were in the vehicles.

The Utah Highway Patrol said a 67-year-old man was traveling west in the truck and drifted across the center turn lane and into the eastbound lane, colliding head-on at the Cobble Hollow Drive intersection with the Kia driven by a 25-year-old man. No names have yet been released.

U.S. 40 was closed in both directions all morning near mile marker 109 Monday.

A second crash occurred at the same location, but it caused no injuries, Roden said.
