DUCHESNE — A crash in Duchesne County has shut down U.S. 191 after an oil tank spilled.

The crash occurred at 5:30 a.m. about 20 miles southwest of Duchesne on U.S. 191. A semitruck hauling two trailers of oil lost control of the rear trailer and it drifted into oncoming traffic, Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cameron Roden said.

The oil trailer was hit head-on by a pickup truck and began leaking, Roden said. Only minor injuries were reported, but the road is closed in both directions while the oil is cleaned up. Roden said the scene is expected to be cleared by around noon.
