SALT LAKE CITY — Post Malone provided a subtle shoutout to his adopted home state during a rousing tribute to the late rocker Ozzy Osbourne at the Grammy Awards Sunday night.
And his latest tour, announced after the performance, will also wrap at his new home.
Utah Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson was among the eagle-eyed Utahns quick to notice Post Malone's Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Rodeo cap during the fiery segment within the music award show. He shared the stage with other notable artists to cover Black Sabbath's "War Pigs."
"Post Malone showing up for my hometown at the Grammys tonight!" she posted on social media.

Spanish Fork officials also noticed the hat, adding, "Thanks, Post Malone, for putting us on the map again."
Posty posted a picture of him rehearsing with Slash, Andrew Watt, Duff McKagan and Chad Smith on social media the day before the performance, writing, "We love you Ozzy." Their performance noticeably left Osbourne's family in tears as they watched the all-star performance.
But that wasn't all from Post Malone. He also announced a new stadium tour on Monday, which will wrap at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City on July 28. Jelly Roll, who walked away with three Grammy awards on Sunday, including one for best contemporary country album, will join him, as will rising country singer-songwriter Carter Faith.

A signup for presale tickets will continue through Wednesday, before presale tickets go on sale on Friday.
It will mark Post Malone's first official Utah show since a similar tour launched at Rice-Eccles Stadium in April 2025, given that his slot at Redwest Festival later in the year was canceled due to inclement weather. However, the Utah resident also made surprise appearances at the Salt Lake City Twilight Concert Series and a gala held at Eccles Theater last year.
