MURRAY — One person died Saturday following a collision near 5300 South and Woodrow Street (100 West) in Murray.

A westbound truck collided with an SUV that was turning left, causing the truck to roll over, trapping one of the occupants inside, said Murray police spokeswoman Kristin Reardon. The occupant was freed and transported to a hospital, but died from their injuries.

The two other occupants in the truck ran away from the scene. One was later located and taken to a hospital with minor injuries, she said. The occupants of the SUV were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

No other information was immediately available.
