SALT LAKE CITY — Class of 2026 quarterback Peyton Falzone plans to make the trip to Salt Lake City for an official visit on April 17.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound quarterback from Nazareth High in Pennsylvania is ranked the No. 15 quarterback, according to 247Sports, and is No. 195 overall in the 2026 class. Falzone was previously committed to Virginia Tech but decommitted in November, opening himself up to other schools.
Falzone and his mother came out to Salt Lake City for an unofficial visit in January, which led to an official visit arrangement of the weekend of Utah's spring game.
"I have a great relationship with the coaching staff at Utah," Falzone said. "It was awesome being able to visit them in January, and I'm super excited to go on my official visit in April."
While on the unofficial visit, Falzone met several of the coaches, including head coach Kyle Whittingham, offensive coordinator Jason Beck and offensive analyst Koy Detmer Jr., and was able to get an in-depth perspective on how Whittingham operates the program and the vision he has for the Utes going forward.
"He is focused on player development and maintaining a top notch program," Falzone said. "Utah has a solid plan for the future of the program that Whittingham is excited about, and highlights the stability of the program."
Being from Pennsylvania, Falzone said he looks forward to more of his family members being able to make the trip to Utah for the official visit to experience the university with him.
"I'm looking forward to meeting players, watching the spring game, and having the opportunity for my family to come out and visit campus and experience the culture," Falzone said.
But Utah isn't the only school Falzone plans on taking an official visit to this summer. About two weeks before his visit to Utah, Falzone and his family will make the trip to Iowa for an official visit. Iowa already has a quarterback committed as part of its 2026 class in three-star quarterback Cash Herrera.
Both official visits for Falzone are far from his hometown, but proximity from home isn't a factor to the quarterback, who plans to go wherever the opportunity is best, he said.
"I don't let the location of the school dictate my opinions," Falzone said. "I'm willing to go wherever I need to find the right fit and opportunity."
Falzone also holds offers from Penn State, Rutgers, West Virginia and more.
