PROVO — BYU got back to winning last week on the basketball court, and it preempted a couple of recruiting wins for the Cougars' football program.
The BYU men's basketball team strung together consecutive wins for the first time in Big 12 play, first thumping Colorado for the Cougars' first true road victory before canning 15 3-pointers in a win over Cincinnati that preempted two new commitments for the BYU football team.
BYU defensive coordinator Jay Hill and cornerbacks coach Jernaro Gilford added a pair of defensive backs to the Class of 2025 in Lone Peak's Landan Goff and Jordyn Criss out of Arlington, Texas.
