ST. GEORGE — A reportedly intoxicated driver crashed into four vehicles in downtown St. George on Sunday, police say.

The crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m., and St. George police officer Tiffany Mitchell said the driver was an 18-year-old woman driving a 2006 Infiniti Q56 SUV.

"She hit a Mustang in the Maverik parking lot on South Bluff and then fled north on Main Street," Mitchell said. "She then hit a white 2006 Toyota Tacoma, a white 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe and a 2005 gray Dodge Grand Caravan that were all parked."

Several witnesses claimed to have seen the crashes along Main Street, and some tried to help the driver afterward.
