SALT LAKE CITY — It's time for another weekend of college football, so let's look at the Week 8 slate of picks.
BYU opens up the weekend with a Friday night home matchup against an Oklahoma State (3-3) team that hasn't lived up to its preseason expectations. The Cougars have a chance to extend their undefeated streak, and 96.2% of BYU fans believe in their team's chance to get it done.
In Logan, Utah State will welcome Bronco Mendenhall back to town when his New Mexico team looks to keep the Aggies on a losing streak. But Utah State fans (about 75% of them) believe their home team will end the losing skid and get their second win of the season.
In the night slate, Utah looks to get back in the win column after back-to-back losses with a home game against former Mountain West rival TCU. While the Horned Frogs have been hot-and-cold this season, they had a bye week before facing the Utes. Utah fans, though, have full belief in their team to right the ship and get a win.
In the two national games, we have an undefeated Indiana team welcoming a one-loss Nebraska team to town, and then a top-25 SEC matchup between Georgia and Texas in one of the most anticipated games of the season. Can newcomer Texas continue to prove to be the best team in the country, or does the SEC still run through Georgia?
