THE WEDDING DAY – What makes a good wedding speech? Perhaps it's the perfecting opening joke, or maybe it's sharing a unique story about the newlyweds that nobody else in the room has ever heard before.

The only thing that's indisputable is that there are a lot more boring speeches out there than memorable speeches. Empowered by the microphone in their hands, people tend to ramble on and on. In extreme cases, you might even need to cut the power on them.

So let's give credit where it's due. The fellow in this video definitely gave a memorable speech. Check it out:

I'm sure that there are some skeptics out there who think this is fake. After all, everything is set up so perfectly that when the backdrop comes crashing down, it looks as though they're simply trying to create a video for America's Funniest Home Videos.

But look again at what happens at the 17-second mark. One of the poles falls down and smacks the bride right in the head. If this was a stunt, it went horribly wrong.

More likely, this was one of those wedding day fiascos that strikes without warning. As long as you keep a sense of humor about it, there's no harm done. People will still laugh about it years later, as it makes everything more memorable for everyone.
