THE SALON — Cats do many interesting things — like bring in critters they find in the garage, run at full speed into the walls at 2 o'clock in the morning and tear up the couch — and some are more adorable than others. Among their better talents — making "biscuits."
That's when cats knead a surface, whether it be a blanket, a pillow or your leg. No one knows exactly why many of our feline companions do this, but some think it's a self-soothing technique they learn as kittens.
One cat owner has harnessed the special skill and incorporated it into her business, a video shows. At the owner's eyelash salon where she applies eyelash extensions, the black cat named Kitty "keeps guests coming back" by providing "complimentary massages" to customers while their eyelashes are applied.
Personally, I wouldn't love a tummy massage like the customer in the video is getting, but the cute cat would probably be a nice distraction from the uncomfortable, long process of getting eyelash extensions glued on.
