It's a dream for many–being able to retire at an early age. In fact, one 2021 survey showed working Americans aged 25-57 planned to retire by age 62 or earlier.
But while most people want to retire before age 65, research from the National Institute on Retirement Security found 56% believe they won't be able to achieve a financially secure retirement.
