SALT LAKE CITY — A new interactive display at the Utah Capitol encourages people to be in someone's corner.

The temporary installation invites people to complete the prompt, "I'm in your corner when," with a personal message about suicide prevention. State leaders and community members will also add supportive messages to the display.

"We need people to know they are loved, they are valued, we need them here," said Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson, who said that the goal is to foster communication, to remind people that suicide is preventable and that reaching out for help is always OK.
