HOOPER, Weber County — A fire sparked on Fremont Island in the Great Salt Lake on Wednesday, prompting air and ground crews to coordinate fire suppression.

The fire was estimated at 25-30 acres shortly after 12 p.m., according to Utah Fire Info.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
