Boston Scientific says cyberattack likely to hurt 2026 sales, profit

Sept 8 — Boston Scientific ​said on Tuesday a cybersecurity ‌incident that disrupted manufacturing ⁠and ​order shipments ⁠globally is ‌likely to ‌have a material ⁠impact ⁠on its third-quarter and full-year 2026 results.

The medical device maker is ‌unlikely ​to meet its previously issued third-quarter and full-year sales and adjusted profit forecast, it ​said ‌in ‌a regulatory ⁠filing. Its shares were down 4.5% in premarket ‌trading.
