FOUNTAIN GREEN, Sanpete County — A man died on Sunday night when the pickup truck he was in rolled on state Route 132 near Fountain Green.
The 2005 Chevrolet truck was the only vehicle involved in the crash in Nephi Canyon at 8:54 p.m., said the Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Zach Randall.
The truck ran off the right side of the road while heading west, which led to the driver overcorrecting before getting back on the roadway and rolling the truck multiple times, Randall explained.
The driver, a man, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck in the crash, Randall said. The man was the only occupant in the truck and died at the scene due to his injuries.
