DUCHESNE — A 67-year-old Salt Lake County man's body was recovered Thursday from Fred Hayes State Park at Starvation Reservoir.
Family members contacted authorities about 10 a.m. Wednesday, reporting that the man had not been heard from since Sunday. About noon on Thursday, the missing man's body was recovered from the reservoir, according to Utah Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division Capt. Chase Pili.
The man's name has not yet been released.
Investigators did not indicate exactly where the man's body was discovered but said that he didn't have a life jacket on.
"The Utah Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division extends condolences to family and friends," the agency said in a statement.
The death is under investigation.
