TOOELE — A Salt Lake woman allegedly upset with a judge in Tooele County was charged Monday with threatening to kill the judge and blow up the 3rd District Courthouse.

Dorothy Godwin Ikwen, 42, is charged with making a threat of terrorism, a second-degree felony, and making a threat against a judge, a third-degree felony.

On Thursday, Ikwen, who identified herself as Dorothy Mack, "called the courthouse and threatened to blow up the courthouse, as well as kill the judge, over a case she's involved in," a police booking affidavit states. The affidavit does not specify the type of case in which Ikwen was involved.

Salt Lake police were called to assist and took Ikwen into custody, then took her to Tooele.

"After questioning, Ms. Mack was booked into the Tooele County (Jail) without further incident," according to the affidavit. "Ms. Mack threatened to kill a Tooele 3rd District Court judge and blow up the Tooele County courthouse. Ms. Mack stated that she knows where the judge lives."
