WEST VALLEY CITY — A man who died Saturday night in a head-on crash has been identified.
Peni Palei, 69, rear-ended a vehicle, then fled and hit another vehicle in a head-on collision and died in that second crash, the West Valley Police Department confirmed on X.
The fatality happened on 3100 South, police said.
Other drivers involved in the collisions suffered only minor injuries.
No other information about the crash was released.
