Leave it to a 3-year-old to provide girls everywhere a lesson on independence, courtesy of a viral YouTube video.
The scenario was pretty simple: She was in a bowling alley with her mother and father, apparently trying a relatively new activity for the toddler. Dad assumes his little girl is going to need some help and that is understandable. The bowling ball is approximately the size of her head. He walks up to her to offer some assistance.
Not so fast. This little girl may need some help, but she does not want it, at least not from Dad. She shoos him away. Dad does not move, though.
I GOT THIS — Now, this little one has to be abundantly clear that she does not want his help. Or him even next to her. So, she pushes his leg. Dad moves away, but just in case he does not get it, she waves him away.
Mom has written as a caption: "POV: your 3 year old thinks she can do everything on her own & she def is proving it." Two laughing and crying emojis are added at the end.

This little girl gave a lesson not only in independence, but in tenacity. She knew what she needed to do, knew she wanted to do it on our own and knew she wanted to excel.
Mission accomplished, and with a strike for effect.
This video has had 8.5 million views in just one month. I like to think that people check it out when they need to remind themselves not to give up.
Without saying much, this 3-year-old has become a role model for not only girls, but anyone who needs a reminder that you, in fact, can do it.
