ELKO, Nevada — A Salt Lake man died in a Nevada crash last week after he apparently lost control and his vehicle overturned.

Aaron Steffens, 42, was driving a Ford Mustang on I-80 in Pershing County, just west of the city of Imlay, at about 8:35 p.m. on April 26.

"The driver of the Mustang (turned) to the left and the vehicle rotated in a counterclockwise direction. The Mustang traveled off the roadway and into the center median, where it overturned," Nevada Highway Patrol said in a statement on Thursday.

Steffens received fatal injuries in the crash. Details on what caused the vehicle to rotate were unavailable, but the Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
