LOGAN — Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the country.
And after two brothers, Breygan and Kasen Holbrook, got hooked on the newfound sport, the two set out to solve a problem they identified that would help "elevate" the game of others.
The brothers wanted to create a paddle that "could perform and really elevate players' game."
"We just couldn't find that, so we wanted to push the limits," Breygan Holbrook said.
The brothers started to sell their paddles — which had unique colors and designs — at various pickleball tournaments, while also recruiting various ambassadors to help get the word out.
In just three years since Holbrook Pickleball was launched, the company has grown by 1,700% and is now well beyond just the brothers' goal of being "big" in Utah. It's a brand that is "branching out all across the world."
"From a pickleball standpoint, we want to win on the court, we want you to feel like you'll win on the court, and we want to win as a company and be a top brand out there," Breygan Holbrook said. "And that's kind of the trajectory of where we hope to head."
To see how the Holbrook brothers got started and what they plan to soon release that will feature some patent pending technology, watch their story above.
