SALT LAKE CITY — Welcome back for Round 2 to determine what you believe is most iconic to Utah, a fun March bracket sponsored by Deseret First Credit Union.

Maybe you're a little upset about some of the losses in the first round — Real Salt Lake never stood a chance against Fry Sauce if we're being honest — but the results are what they are.

The biggest surprise to me, at least, is that the Utah Hockey Club — you know, that NHL team that's been in Utah for less than a year — managed to beat the Spiral Jetty (crafted in 1970) by 201 votes.

But the closest battle was ... Antelope Island narrowly defeating winter inversion by 73 votes. The other closest battles were Utah football losing out to Jell-O by 161 votes and Lagoon losing out to Pioneer Day by 174 votes.

Both BYU and Utah football lost their respective battles to opponents, but the BYU-Utah rivalry managed to beat out the iconic Bryce Canyon by 227 votes. Also, apparently nobody wanted BYU or Aggie ice cream, which is a shame.

The next round only gets more difficult, so tell all your friends and family to vote now! Voting for this round will go through the weekend.
