GENEVA — One of the strong candidates to win the IOC's presidential election next week says meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump should be high on the winner's agenda. Juan Antonio Samaranch tells The Associated Press: "It has to be a priority. The United States is today one of the most, if not the most, important partner." The 2028 Los Angeles Olympics will be one of the defining events for whoever wins the eight-year IOC leadership term on Thursday. Seven candidates are competing for votes from about 100 other IOC members at a meeting near Ancient Olympia in Greece.
