EUREKA, Juab County — A West Valley man died Sunday after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on U.S. 6.

The crash happened about 2 miles east of Eureka, Juab County, about 1:45 p.m. An eastbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle crossed the center line on a sharp turn in the road and was struck head-on by a Ford F-350 pickup truck, according to a statement from the Utah Highway Patrol.

The motorcyclist died at the crash scene. On Monday, UHP identified him as Robert Taylor Anderson, 34, of West Valley City.

No other injuries were reported.

U.S. 6 was closed for two hours while the scene was investigated and cleaned up, the Utah Department of Transportation said.
