LOGAN — Fire officials on Monday identified the woman who died in a Logan structure fire over the weekend.

Fire and police crews responded to a residence near 900 West and 1000 South about 7:45 a.m. on Saturday. A woman was found deceased inside the residence, according to a news release from the Logan Police Department.

"Engine 72 arrived within 5 minutes and immediately made several aggressive attempts to rescue a victim, but unfortunately were unsuccessful. Our hearts go out to their family and friends," the Logan Fire Department posted on social media.

On Monday, the fire department identified the woman as 40-year-old Terilynn Roskelley. Details on how she died were not immediately available.

A news release from the fire department also said investigators had determined the cause of the fire to be accidental, saying it likely started from "combustible materials in contact with natural-gas, wall-mounted heater."
