SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Hockey Club captain Clayton Keller seems to play his best against his hometown team, the St. Louis Blues.
Saturday's 4-2 win was no exception. Keller scored a goal and added three assists to have a hand in all four Utah goals against the Blues. Combined with 3 points by Logan Cooley, the duo lifted The Club to a victory that could have major playoff implications.
Up next for The Club is a tough task. Utah will wrap up a seven-game home stand by hosting the division-leading Winnipeg Jets, anchored by an MVP candidate in goal, Connor Hellebuyck.
A win over the Jets could be a turning point for Utah's inaugural season, which has had its fair share of ups and downs already. SLC Puck's Austin Facer suggests that Monday's matchup might be one of the most important games of the year.
